Head of Transactional Services

The Company is seeking a Head of Transactional Services to lead a finance function covering accounts payable, billing, credit control, and treasury. The role oversees a team of professionals, setting objectives, developing succession plans, and ensuring accurate, timely processing of payments, invoices, cash management, and banking transactions. Responsibilities include managing month-end close, maintaining financial controls and compliance, monitoring service levels and KPIs, and developing consistent policies and procedures. The successful candidate will build strong stakeholder relationships and support finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates should have substantial experience leading shared-services finance teams in a large organization, including responsibility for multiple transactional functions. At least three years of line-management experience is required, along with demonstrated ability to coach and develop team leaders, manage change, and engage stakeholders effectively. Strong knowledge of financial controls, compliance, and process improvement is essential, as is the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure. Experience with an ERP system and intermediate-to-advanced spreadsheet skills is preferred.
