Assistant Vice President, Fund Accounting

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Fund Accounting to oversee fund books and records, calculate net asset values, and coordinate and review financial statements and investor reporting. Responsibilities include reviewing incentive fee calculations, capital calls, distributions, equalizations, and investor capital accounts, as well as overseeing payments and other transactions. The role supervises junior staff, serves as a key day-to-day contact for clients and fund participants, and works with investor relations to address inquiries and communicate fund activity. The successful candidate will also support audits, maintain stakeholder relationships, monitor client service agreements, and contribute to business projects. Candidates should have a master’s degree in accounting or finance, or a professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, or ACCA, and at least six years of financial services accounting experience, particularly in private equity, asset management, or fund administration. Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP, experience preparing and reviewing general ledgers and financial statements, and at least three years of staff leadership experience are required. Strong English communication, client relationship management, analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Microsoft applications and enterprise accounting systems are expected. Private equity or real estate fund experience, including complex fund structures, waterfall calculations, and preferred returns, is valuable; familiarity with Investran is an advantage.
