Associate Vice President, Principal Auditor, Validations
About the Role
Greater Manila, Philippines Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking a Principal Auditor for Validations, who will be a key member of the Group Audit function. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on the Validation book of work, which includes assessing finding validations, conducting walkthroughs, identifying risks and controls, defining test plans, and concluding on the test plans. This role requires the ability to assess the materiality of exceptions, stay updated on regulatory and audit-related developments, and effectively communicate to enhance regulatory knowledge within the team. The Principal Auditor will also be expected to be a proactive role model, support the team, and escalate key emerging risks to senior management. Applicants for the Principal Auditor position should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, with an advanced degree and professional certification preferred. In-depth experience in an audit function within the financial services industry, particularly in leading audits or finding validations, is essential. The role demands a good knowledge of regulatory requirements, a thorough understanding of the risk and control environment, and demonstrated experience in building meaningful relationships. Excellent communication skills and the ability to leverage AI tools for productivity are also required.
