Chief Credit Officer

The Company is seeking a Chief Credit Officer to guide commercial credit analysis and underwriting while partnering with lending and operations teams to support sound portfolio decisions. Responsibilities include evaluating commercial loan opportunities, borrower financial performance, collateral, and repayment capacity, and recommending appropriate credit structures. The role contributes analysis and recommendations to credit decisions, helps resolve loan structure and documentation questions, and assesses prospective lending products and market segments. The Chief Credit Officer also prepares analyses for special assignments, coaches credit analysts, and collaborates on training and reviews of complex requests. Candidates should have at least five years of commercial credit analysis experience, ideally in banking or commercial finance, and a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, banking, or a related field. Strong skills in financial statement analysis, commercial underwriting, and credit risk assessment are required. The role calls for sound judgment in balancing growth with risk, the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines, and clear written and verbal communication. Candidates should also be effective at building working relationships across credit, lending, operations, and leadership teams.
