The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer with a background in professional services to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be part of the client's accounting services team, performing CFO functions, and will be accountable for identifying and implementing best practices to add value to the client. This role involves working closely with the client to set financial policy, driving overall strategy, and leading various financial activities such as capital planning, risk management, and KPI analysis. The CFO will also be responsible for financial administration, planning, and budgeting, as well as overseeing long-term budget planning and cost management. Applicants for the Chief Financial Officer position should have a minimum of 8 years' of relevant accounting and/or financial experience, with a Bachelor's degree required. While a CPA certification is preferred, it is not mandatory. The role demands a candidate who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, skilled in multitasking, and has the ability to manage multiple client engagements effectively. Building strong client relationships and becoming a key member of the client management team is essential, as is the ability to develop a key external business network and be a thought leader in the industry. Experience with QuickBooks and Sage Intacct is highly preferred, and prior project and client management experience is a plus.
