The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to spearhead the organization's information security and cybersecurity strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the cybersecurity strategy and information security roadmap in alignment with business objectives. This role involves leading the governance of technology and security risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and managing incident response and business continuity plans. The CISO will also oversee cloud security, identity and access architecture, and data protection, as well as manage third-party and technology vendor risk. A key aspect of the position is to promote a cross-functional security culture and to lead, develop, and scale the cybersecurity team. Applicants for the CISO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree being a plus, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in information security, including at least 5 years in leadership roles. Experience in the financial, banking, fintech, or insurance sectors is essential, as is a proven track record of interacting with regulators and external auditors. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of the Mexican financial regulatory framework and international security standards, as well as certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent. Strategic leadership, executive communication, and the ability to make decisions under pressure are also key skills for this role.
