The Company is seeking an Applications Development Senior Manager to lead a team in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs, with a focus on driving application systems analysis and programming activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing one or more development teams, providing technical oversight, and contributing to the formulation of strategies for application development. This role requires a senior management level individual with a strong background in the financial services industry, particularly in the areas of stakeholder and people management, and a proven track record in project management and leadership. Key responsibilities for this position include reviewing and analyzing technical solutions, ensuring the delivery of end results, and participating in budget management. The role also involves monitoring and managing day-to-day staff issues, including resource allocation, and ensuring that essential procedures and standards are followed. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years' of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), and a basic knowledge of industry practices and standards. Essential skills include the ability to assess and manage risk, demonstrate clear communication, and provide evaluative judgment in complex situations. Experience in development, configuration, and coding, particularly in Ab Initio, Java, and Oracle, is indispensable, as is an intermediate to advanced level of English.
