Vice President, Controller Greater Miami, FL Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President and Controller to oversee all accounting and financial reporting activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the company's financial records in compliance with GAAP, managing the accounts payable, financial reporting, and revenue accounting teams, and ensuring the effectiveness of the company's internal controls. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strategic mindset, capable of producing accurate and timely financial information, and leading the annual audit process. The Vice President and Controller will also be involved in enhancing and enforcing financial policies and procedures, negotiating financial contracts, and driving a culture of engagement and communication within the finance team. Applicants for the Vice President and Controller position at the company should have an undergraduate degree in business, finance, or accounting, with a CPA or MBA preferred. A minimum of 15 years' of progressive financial management experience, including at least 10 years in a leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of GAAP accounting and SOX compliance, and a proven track record of managing financial teams.
