Trustee (Board-level role)
About the Role
Greater Milton Keynes, United Kingdom Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking a Trustee to join their dedicated team and provide oversight for their holiday programs that support children and young adults with complex motor disorders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a real difference in the lives of these young individuals and will work alongside a small group of Trustees to ensure the successful running of the programs. The role is not time-consuming, with approximately 6 meetings a year, mostly online, and one face-to-face meeting. Trustees play a shared role in the development and support of all the programs, and the company values fresh ideas and varied voices to continue to thrive. The successful Trustee will not be required to be a specialist in disability or developmental programs, but should be prepared to contribute to the strategic direction of the charity and support the professional, multi-disciplinary team that runs the programs. The company has been in operation since 1990 and is well-established, but is in need of new perspectives to keep the programs dynamic and effective. The Trustee Board is structured to include parent-facing Trustees and one Trustee with a focus on staff matters and HR, so the role is well-defined and supportive. If you are interested in this rewarding opportunity, please reach out for more information.
