Associate Vice President, Corporate Law

The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President for Corporate Law to join their legal team. This executive leadership role is pivotal in shaping the legal strategy of the organization, which is dedicated to serving patients, providers, team members, and communities. The successful candidate will lead the Corporate Law function, providing strategic legal counsel on a wide range of complex business, governance, and operational matters. This includes overseeing legal support for commercial contracting, real estate transactions, and affiliated entities. The role also involves advising on corporate transactions, partnerships, and growth initiatives, as well as leading a multidisciplinary team and driving operational excellence within the Office of General Counsel. Applicants for the Associate Vice President, Corporate Law position at the company should have a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school, be licensed to practice law in Wisconsin, and have a minimum of 8-10 years' of experience in corporate, transactional, healthcare, or business law. A strong background in leading and managing legal teams, as well as extensive experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of mentoring legal professionals, advising senior executives, and leading organizational initiatives. Strong business acumen, excellent communication, and executive leadership skills are required. Experience in integrated health systems, academic medical centers, or similarly complex organizations, and a background in supporting nonprofit or tax-exempt entities, are preferred.
