Associate General Counsel

The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel to join its mission of transforming patient engagement in the life sciences industry. The successful candidate will be the first dedicated legal hire, responsible for building and scaling the legal infrastructure to support the company's high-growth operations. This includes developing and expanding legal frameworks for commercial agreements, data processing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, particularly in the handling of sensitive patient data. The role demands a strategic partner who can provide rigorous oversight of legal and compliance risks, and who is adept at making sound legal judgments in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Applicants should have 8-12+ years of legal experience, with a strong preference for those who have worked in-house at a technology or healthcare technology company. A J.D. from an accredited law school and a license to practice law in New York or another U.S. jurisdiction are required. The ideal candidate will have a deep background in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, a working knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy, and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively to non-legal stakeholders. A builder's mentality, strong executive presence, and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy are essential. Experience in life sciences, digital health, and familiarity with state privacy laws and AI/data governance frameworks are considered a plus.
