The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Special Initiatives to play a pivotal role in the formulation and implementation of program policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that critical policy objectives and program operations are met and maintained in a timely and efficient manner. This includes collaborating with the Office of the Chief Special Services Officer to oversee assigned program areas, managing the impact of policy objectives, and recommending actions to streamline processes. The Executive Director will also provide oversight of lead testing and remediation in congregate housing facilities, support the development of long-term strategies, and manage emergency preparedness activities for special services. Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a baccalaureate degree and at least 4 years of full-time responsible experience in project management, management systems, and development, or a related field. This experience must include a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial, or executive capacity. The role requires the ability to manage and initiate the progress of projects, provide analysis for the development of multi-year plans, and support the Deputy Commissioners of Special Services. The Executive Director will also be involved in representing the Office of the Chief Special Services Officer at various meetings and events, as well as managing data collection and reporting of key agency indicators. The position demands a candidate with a strong background in the relevant fields, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and challenging environment.
