Fractional Vice President, Fed & Tri-Party Settlements

The Company is seeking a Vice President to lead its Fed and Tri-Party Settlements function, overseeing U.S. Treasury, repo, and secured financing settlement activity. Responsibilities include managing a team of operations professionals and serving as a senior escalation point for trading desks and business leaders. The role oversees settlement workflows, collateral movements, funding and liquidity coordination, exceptions, and high-value transactions, while monitoring operational, settlement, and liquidity risks. The Vice President will also strengthen controls, support audits and regulatory initiatives, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and prepare for evolving clearing requirements. Candidates should have 10–15 or more years of capital markets operations experience, deep expertise in U.S. Treasury settlements, Fedwire, repo and secured financing operations, and Tri-Party settlements, including experience with major Tri-Party platforms. Formal people-management experience is required, including leading a team of at least six professionals in a high-volume environment. Applicants should understand the end-to-end settlement lifecycle, U.S. Treasury market structure, risk and control frameworks, and regulatory reviews. Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder-management, and decision-making skills are essential; experience with process improvement, automation, and Treasury clearing requirements is an advantage.
