Treasurer & Vice President of Finance

The Company is seeking a Treasurer & Vice President of Finance to serve as its Chief Financial Officer and a key member of the President's Cabinet. The successful candidate will be the chief advisor to the President in strategic planning for the acquisition, use, and growth of campus-wide resources. This role is pivotal in overseeing a wide range of financial responsibilities, including accounting and finance, investment management, purchasing, internal audit, insurance and risk management, and advancement and endowment financial management. The Treasurer & Vice President of Finance will be expected to bring deep financial acumen, a systems approach, and a commitment to the values of the institution, and to work towards further strengthening its vitality. Applicants for the Treasurer & Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field, with a master’s degree and/or CPA preferred. Higher education experience is also preferred, or a proven ability to transition successfully into the sector. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of sound financial leadership, particularly in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and developing financial systems. Proficiency in ERP systems and experience with financial and accounting software, especially Ellucian Banner, is a plus. Change management skills and a strong commitment to the student-centered mission and values of the institution are essential.
