Vice President of Agriculture Underwriting Greater New York City, NY Area

The Company is seeking a Senior Agriculture Underwriter with the potential to advance to the Head of North America role. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing underwriting strategies for the agriculture business, maintaining client and broker relationships, and identifying opportunities that align with the company's risk appetite. This role involves travel for client visits, field assessments, and representing the company at industry events. The Senior Agriculture Underwriter will also be involved in monitoring and reporting on capacity deployment, as well as collaborating with internal teams to ensure data quality and compliance. Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in the agriculture insurance and reinsurance business, with a focus on MPCI and Crop Hail insurance. A proven track record in underwriting, product design, and portfolio management is essential. The role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills, excellent English communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a global team. Spanish language skills are a plus.
