Vice President, Software Engineer

The Company is seeking a senior backend software engineer to develop and enhance systems that support its technology platform. Responsibilities include building and maintaining backend applications, services, and APIs; translating business needs into technical solutions; and leading complex initiatives from architecture through testing and deployment. The role also involves designing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based solutions, improving existing systems, and contributing to technical design discussions and code reviews. The engineer will support production systems, strengthen testing and monitoring practices, and use AI-assisted tools to improve development workflows. Candidates should have at least eight years of professional software engineering experience, including five or more years developing backend applications, services, or APIs. Proficiency in a modern programming language such as Java, Python, or TypeScript is required, along with knowledge of cloud development, distributed systems, and scalable architecture. Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, automated testing, version control, and CI/CD practices is also expected.
