Fractional Vice President of Product Development

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Product Development to lead end-to-end makeup product development, from initial concept through launch. Responsibilities include creating product, formula, and packaging briefs; managing innovation pipelines, testing, approvals, and launch readiness; and coordinating with formulators, manufacturers, and packaging suppliers. The role also involves reviewing formulas, shades, samples, specifications, and quality requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and track project timelines, risks, documentation, and dependencies. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and 4–8 years of experience in beauty, cosmetics, or consumer product development. Experience developing makeup formulas and packaging is required, along with strong vendor and project management skills. Familiarity with clean or ingredient-conscious beauty is preferred.
