The Company is seeking a Vice President for Impairment, with a primary focus on evaluating and assessing the potential impairment of financial assets to ensure the accuracy of the company's financial statements. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying impairment triggers, conducting in-depth analysis of financial and non-financial information, and applying both quantitative and qualitative impairment tests. This role also involves the assessment of impairment losses, calculation of impairment provisions, and the management of impaired assets. The Vice President is expected to contribute to strategic decision-making, drive change, and lead a team in a dynamic and challenging environment. Applicants for the Vice President Impairment role at the company should have a strong background in credit risk management and strategy, with a deep understanding of credit risk models, forecasting, and portfolio risk management. Experience with IFRS9 and IAS 39 accounting standards is essential, as is a proven track record in analytical problem-solving, team collaboration, and stakeholder management. The role requires clear and concise communication skills, the ability to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders, and a comprehensive understanding of the organization's functions. Proficiency in SAS and Python is a plus, and candidates may be assessed on a range of critical skills including risk and controls, change management, business acumen, and digital technology.
