Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee daily operations, improve business performance, develop leaders, and support sustainable growth. The role leads service, installation, plumbing, dispatch, customer service, warehouse, and related functions, while establishing consistent operating procedures and standards across locations. Responsibilities include resolving significant customer escalations, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance, strengthening training and accountability, and using operational data to improve efficiency and profitability. The COO will also translate business objectives into operating plans, assess readiness for expansion, and report on performance, risks, and strategic initiatives to executive leadership. Candidates should bring senior-level operational leadership experience in HVAC, plumbing, or residential home services, with thorough knowledge of residential HVAC service, installation, dispatch, field management, and customer service. The role requires familiarity with contractor compliance and customer-related regulatory risks, along with experience managing multiple departments, developing leaders, and improving financial and operational results. Applicants should have a track record of creating training programs, standard procedures, performance standards, and accountability systems, as well as resolving complex customer concerns. Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, labor costs, margins, productivity metrics, and profitability, is essential, alongside excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Multi-location operations, business scaling, and field service management software experience are preferred.
