Vice President of Operations Greater Phoenix, AZ Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead operational performance across multiple teams and ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, on schedule, and through closeout. The role oversees operational leaders, establishes a consistent management cadence, and monitors project health, costs, staffing, capacity, and customer commitments. Responsibilities include setting delivery standards, driving change-order recovery, coordinating resource plans, and addressing escalated customer concerns. The VP will also develop directors and managers, build succession plans, establish a project management office as the organization grows, and partner with other functions to drive continuous improvement. Candidates should have at least 10 years of progressively responsible operations leadership experience, including accountability for multiple teams, business units, or complex workstreams. They should demonstrate success improving performance, implementing management systems, and scaling an organization, with strong financial, forecasting, capacity-planning, and risk-management skills. Experience leading and developing leaders is essential. Commercial construction or specialty contracting experience is preferred, as are backgrounds in execution-intensive industries, continuous improvement training, and relevant professional certifications. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred; an advanced degree is beneficial but not required.
