Managing Director of Public Finance Capital Markets

The Company is seeking a Managing Director of Public Finance Capital Markets to lead financing origination for public sector entities, including governments, school districts, utilities, and other municipal issuers. Responsibilities include developing new business, managing client relationships, and structuring tailored financing strategies and complex municipal transactions. The role also leads proposals and client presentations, oversees transaction pricing and execution, and coordinates with legal, compliance, and underwriting teams. The Managing Director will monitor market and regulatory developments, advise clients, and mentor junior bankers while supporting effective risk management and compliance. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of related experience, along with appropriate FINRA licenses. The role requires deep public finance expertise, strong issuer and investor relationships, and a record of successful deal execution. Excellent written and verbal communication, management, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills are essential. Candidates should also be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
