The Company is seeking a hands-on senior engineer to join a pioneering team dedicated to the development of a cutting-edge AI platform. This platform is designed to transform the end-to-end credit risk model development lifecycle by leveraging the power of large language models and intelligent workflows. The successful candidate will work closely with quantitative analysts and key stakeholders to understand and shape high-impact use cases, and will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of the generative AI platform. Key responsibilities include taking end-to-end ownership of platform modules, building proofs-of-concept, and championing engineering best practices. The role demands a proactive approach to technical challenges, a commitment to self-learning in the rapidly evolving AI landscape, and the ability to work effectively in a global, collaborative environment. Applicants must have a graduate degree and a minimum of 8-12 years' of extensive software engineering experience, with a deep proficiency in Python and its ecosystem. A strong background in backend and systems fundamentals, technical influence, and excellent communication skills are essential. Experience with REST APIs, SQL/databases, and Unix-based as well as containerized environments is required. The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated ability to contribute to technical direction, champion best practices, and work effectively with geographically distributed teams. Nice-to-haves include experience with Java/C++, full-stack development, and a background in the financial services industry, particularly in quantitative finance, risk management, or model risk management. Familiarity with the model development lifecycle and experience in regulated environments are also advantageous.
