Associate Vice President, AI Engineer Greater Pune, India Area

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, AI Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be part of a data engineering team under the Center of Excellence in Data Science, with a focus on building a next-generation enterprise AI and data platform. This platform is designed to support the development and deployment of intelligent applications and agents across various investment and operational workflows. The role requires hands-on AI and data engineers who can create reliable, AI-ready data products, design production-grade AI applications, and integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI and data engineering, with a focus on Python, SQL, and experience with cloud data and AI platforms. Key responsibilities for this role include operating at the intersection of AI engineering, data engineering, and investment technology, with an emphasis on security, CI/CD, and the rigorous validation of production AI systems. The candidate should have a deep understanding of generative AI, agentic systems, and experience with large language models, embeddings, and AI agents. Experience in platform engineering, security, and DevOps is also essential, including a strong background in CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and containerization. The role demands a candidate who is adept at using AI-assisted development tools and can independently validate AI-generated code. The ability to design observable, resilient, and secure AI systems, as well as experience with evaluation, observability, and testing frameworks, is required.
