The Company is in search of an IT Application Owner (ITAO) to take on a pivotal role in the governance, operational stability, compliance, and lifecycle management of critical banking applications. The successful candidate will be the primary accountable owner for application availability, resilience, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and technology risk management. This demanding position requires close collaboration with Product Owners, Engineering teams, Operations teams, and Infrastructure teams, and demands strong leadership, stakeholder management, and a solid understanding of application governance, security controls, and operational excellence. Applicants for the IT Application Owner (ITAO) role at the company should have a minimum of 5-8 years' experience in IT application ownership, application support, production management, software development, or related technology roles. A background in ITIL processes and banking applications is advantageous. The role involves managing the operational stability and governance of multiple business applications, coordinating various management activities, and ensuring compliance with technology policies and regulatory obligations. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of enterprise application architectures, hands-on technical knowledge of REST APIs, web services, and troubleshooting distributed applications, as well as experience with ITSM/ITIL processes, information security, and vulnerability management. Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD concepts is also required, along with the ability to manage multiple applications and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
