The Company is seeking a Vice President of Service to take on a pivotal role in establishing a comprehensive service, warranty, charging, and customer support ecosystem. This founding-level leadership position is focused on defining and building the post-sale strategy for next-generation electric and hybrid commercial vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing the national service network, including service standards, technician certification programs, and parts distribution strategy. Additionally, the role involves developing the warranty policy structure, managing warranty costs, and overseeing the charging infrastructure support strategy for customers. The VP of Service will also lead the technical support function, build a high-performing service organization, and ensure cross-functional alignment on service readiness for new model launches. Applicants for the Vice President of Service role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, operations, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 12 years' experience in service, aftersales, or technical operations within the automotive OEM, transit, or transportation equipment industries is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electric and hybrid vehicle systems, high-voltage safety protocols, and EV technology, as well as experience in managing dealer or distributor service relationships. A customer-first mindset, strong financial acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and executive stakeholders are essential. The role demands a strategic thinker who is also a hands-on builder, capable of creating and scaling service programs in a fast-moving environment.
