Interim Head of Finance Greater Rotterdam, Netherlands Area

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key member of the management team, responsible for the strategic and operational development of the financial function. This role is pivotal in translating financial insights into concrete business decisions, particularly in the areas of investment and growth planning. The Head of Finance will be the primary financial partner for the CEO and other executives, challenging and supporting them in capital allocation and commercial initiatives. They will also be involved in maintaining and enhancing financial models, analyzing customer behavior, and building dashboards to monitor progress. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years' experience in a financial role, with a strong background in financial modeling, and the ability to work both strategically and hands-on. Key responsibilities for the Head of Finance include the professionalization of the financial department, developing and implementing the finance roadmap, and being the driving force behind the planning and control cycle. The role requires a deep understanding of the business model, including customer lifetime value and customer acquisition cost dynamics, as well as experience in tendering and managing long-term relationships with municipalities. The candidate should be adept at advising on strategic and financial matters, and be comfortable with KPI-driven, data-based decision-making. A hands-on approach, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and fluency in both Dutch and English are essential. The position offers the opportunity to have a direct impact on the company's strategy and investment decisions, with the potential for the role to evolve into a CFO position as the company grows.
