The Company is seeking a Data Governance Data Scientist to join their team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the transformation and operationalization of data governance processes, with a focus on workflow automation, AI agent development, and stakeholder management. This role is pivotal in automating existing data management and governance activities, establishing scalable, technology-enabled ways of working, and partnering with stakeholders to expand data governance across critical reports and key business processes. The candidate will also be responsible for building and managing AI agents that support governance processes, including monitoring their operation and continuously improving their effectiveness. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and at least 8 years of experience in data governance, data management, process automation, AI solutions, or related areas, preferably within financial services or a risk background. A strong understanding of data governance principles, hands-on experience in workflow automation and AI/agent development, and familiarity with agentic AI, APIs, and low-code/no-code automation platforms are essential. The role requires knowledge or experience in ontology, knowledge graphs, and semantic modeling, as well as strong stakeholder management and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a builder mindset, capable of driving the establishment of the company's enterprise ontology and leveraging automation and agentic capabilities to enhance the data governance operating model.
