About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Securities and Global Markets Oversight within its Compliance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing oversight of securities-related activities and compliance frameworks from the perspective of the ultimate parent company. This role involves close collaboration with compliance and financial crime compliance teams across banking and securities entities to ensure the consistent application of compliance and AML standards. The AVP will also support the integration and alignment of policies, procedures, and governance frameworks, advise on regulatory implications of new initiatives, and monitor compliance with regulatory and internal requirements. Applicants must have a degree in law, finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 6 years' of relevant experience in compliance, legal, regulatory advisory, risk management, audit, regulatory reporting, or front office control functions. A strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in global markets, particularly in Singapore and other major APAC jurisdictions, is essential. The role requires excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to manage competing priorities and exercise sound judgment. Experience in managing regional projects, regulatory change initiatives, or cross-border governance programs is advantageous, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset is a must.
