The successful candidate will be part of a team that provides independent assurance on the governance, risk management, and control processes of the group. This role is pivotal in evaluating complex technology environments, challenging architecture and control decisions, and assessing technology risks from both a resilient architecture and risk governance perspective. Responsibilities include leading and executing end-to-end technology audits, independently assessing technology architectures for critical business services, and evaluating technology risk management practices. The role also involves leading thematic reviews, performing incident back-testing, and developing risk-based audit strategies to address emerging technology risks. Candidates for this position should have a degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of 10 years' experience in technology audit, technology risk management, or related fields. Strong core technology and risk experience is essential, particularly in resilient architecture design and technology risk management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in independent technology risk assessments, architecture reviews, and a strong understanding of technology governance and risk management frameworks. Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CRISC are advantageous. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities. The candidate should also be adept at building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and be capable of coaching and guiding junior auditors.
