Associate Vice Chancellor for Resource Planning & Budget

Greater St. Louis, MO Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice Chancellor for Resource Planning and Budget. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the annual operating budget process, multi-year financial planning, and strategic resource allocation. This role involves serving as a key advisor to the executive team on the deployment of financial resources to support institutional priorities. The Associate Vice Chancellor will also be involved in tuition and revenue modeling, compensation and position planning, and developing financial scenarios to ensure the institution's financial health. A forward-looking, strategic approach to resource planning is essential, as is the ability to lead and develop a team in a complex organizational setting. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years' of progressively responsible leadership experience in financial planning, budgeting, or resource management within a large, complex organization. A Master's degree in a related field is preferred. The role requires the ability to present to and work with senior leadership and a Board of Trustees, as well as the skill to translate complex financial analysis into clear recommendations. Experience in a higher education environment and knowledge of financial management systems are also desirable. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in budget development, financial forecasting, and modeling, and possess excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
