The Company is in search of a seasoned Head of Corporate Development to take on a pivotal leadership role, driving enterprise growth through a range of strategic activities. This includes but is not limited to, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, investment origination, capital deployment, and portfolio optimization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the corporate development strategy in alignment with the company's growth objectives and long-term value creation. This role demands a highly commercial leader with a strong background in corporate development, infrastructure, renewable energy, investment banking, private equity, project finance, or related sectors. The Head of Corporate Development will be at the forefront of identifying, assessing, and leading various strategic opportunities, and will play a critical part in shaping the future direction of the business. Applicants for the Head of Corporate Development position at the company should possess significant senior leadership experience and a proven track record in leading complex transactions. Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and commercial analysis skills are essential, as is a strong understanding of project finance, investment governance, and capital allocation. The role requires exceptional negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder engagement abilities, as well as the capacity to work effectively with executive leaders, Boards, investors, and other key stakeholders. A relevant tertiary qualification in a related discipline is a must, and experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or energy transition markets is highly valued. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to balance risk and opportunity, and will be adept at leveraging AI and digital capabilities to enhance decision-making and transaction processes.
