Associate Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis

Greater Syracuse, NY Area (Hybrid)
The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis to provide high-level financial leadership, strategic analysis, and decision support. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes, as well as partnering with senior and operational leaders to establish financial targets and monitor performance. Key responsibilities include analyzing financial and operational results, developing financial models for various strategic opportunities, and supporting the organization in identifying and implementing initiatives for revenue growth, cost optimization, and operational improvement. Applicants for the AVP of Financial Planning and Analysis role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 5 years' experience in healthcare financial analysis, and a strong background in enterprise analytics platforms. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and advanced Excel is required, along with a demonstrated knowledge of healthcare finance, reimbursement methodologies, and industry trends. The role demands a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of leadership in developing and mentoring financial professionals. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred, as is experience in supporting strategic investments, acquisitions, and service-line development.
