Associate Vice President, Global Credit Operations

Greater Taipei, Taiwan Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Global Credit Operations. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, risk management, and service delivery initiatives within the trade finance and lending operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and authorizing daily trade finance transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This includes a range of activities such as reviewing and approving various financing transactions, maintaining operational procedures, and acting as a key contact point for clients, business partners, and regulators. The role also involves leading and developing a team to achieve operational excellence, as well as identifying and implementing process improvements. Applicants for this role at the company should be at least a University or College graduate with a minimum of 10 years' experience in banking operations, particularly in trade finance and/or lending operations and workflows. A strong understanding of local regulatory requirements, experience in preparing regulatory reports, and familiarity with relevant trade finance rules are essential. The role requires proficiency in both English and Chinese, as well as business-related licenses in bank internal control and audit, and basic international banking personnel. The ideal candidate will be a proactive learner, a self-starter, and have a proven track record of taking initiative in all job-related aspects.
