The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Team Lead for KYC in Corporate Banking. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of KYC specialists to ensure the timely and accurate completion of Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews for corporate banking clients. This role involves providing guidance and acting as the escalation point for complex KYC cases, ownership structures, and regulatory requirements. The AVP, Team Lead will also be tasked with ensuring team alignment with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), and internal bank policies, as well as collaborating with various business units to facilitate smooth onboarding and periodic reviews. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in business, finance, or a related discipline, with significant experience in KYC/CDD operations within corporate or institutional banking. A proven track record in a leadership or supervisory role, deep understanding of AML/CFT regulations, tax compliance, and industry best practices are essential. The role requires strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities to ensure effective collaboration across different business units. The ideal candidate will be adept at monitoring team performance, managing workload distribution, and driving continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
