The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Team Lead for Transaction Surveillance Operations within the Compliance division. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing management oversight of the Transaction Surveillance Operations teams, leading them in the management of complex, multi-jurisdictional AML reviews and investigations, and ensuring the quality and timeliness of these processes. This role also involves embracing the application of AI/ML and data analytics to enhance the identification of suspicious activities, contributing to the transformation program, and proactively identifying financial crime risks and control weaknesses. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in accountancy, finance, or a related field, with professional certifications such as ACAMS or ICA preferred. A minimum of 10 years' of experience in financial crime-related functions is required, along with a detailed understanding of financial crime risk and controls, including FSC regulations. The role demands excellent team and people management skills, the ability to work with various stakeholders, and a proactive approach to maintaining current knowledge of money laundering and terrorist financing issues. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical and written skills, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
