Head of Operations

The Company is seeking a Head of Operations to lead its Finance and Human Resources functions, improve operational efficiency, and ensure compliance. Responsibilities include overseeing daily team operations, establishing procedures and performance measures, and managing accounting activities such as financial close, reporting, budgeting, expense control, cash flow, and payments. The role also oversees tax filings and audits, and manages the employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through payroll, performance, and development. The successful candidate will strengthen workflows and cross-functional collaboration, reduce manual work and operational risks, and provide management with updates and recommendations. Candidates should have an academic background or professional experience in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with proven department management or team leadership experience. Experience overseeing both Finance and HR teams is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of Taiwan accounting standards, taxation, payroll, personnel administration, labor laws, and data protection requirements is needed. The role also calls for expertise in internal controls, compliance, workflow improvement, performance metrics, and management reporting, as well as strong communication, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Chinese and English proficiency is preferred.
