The Company is seeking a member for its Supervisory Board with a strong background in foundational education. The ideal candidate will be a connecting supervisor with a broad perspective on education and a keen awareness of the societal challenges within the educational sector. This role is pivotal in safeguarding expertise in educational quality, quality assurance, and supervision by the Education Inspectorate. The successful candidate will chair the Quality Committee, which is responsible for delving into the quality and development of education, including schools that require special attention. The role demands a substantive and constructive approach, serving as a sparring partner for the Executive Board, and the ability to interpret quality information, assess risks, and ask the right questions from a supervisory standpoint. Candidates for this position should have a clear vision of educational quality and quality assurance, with knowledge of foundational education, the education system, and the role of the Inspectorate of Education. Experience in large, complex organizations, and an understanding of the diverse issues faced by schools in a metropolitan context, are essential. The ideal candidate will be a team player, a firm yet flexible leader, and will prioritize the interests of the board as a whole. The role requires a significant time commitment and a willingness to be actively involved in the organization, including visits to schools and engagement with educational practice.
