The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President to take the helm of FX Operations within Japan Markets. This pivotal role demands a seasoned leader with a minimum of 10 years' experience in FX operations, securities settlement, or payments and funds movement risk management. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end FX operations function, including trade settlement, risk control, and regulatory compliance. A key aspect of the role is to drive process improvements that enhance settlement quality and efficiency, with a focus on maintaining the highest standards of control and compliance. The SVP will also have senior-level oversight of Large Payments Control, contributing to the development of risk reduction strategies and ensuring robust management of significant outgoing payments. Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, with a preference for a Master's degree in a related field. Advanced proficiency in Japanese and English is essential, as is a valid Japan Securities Dealers Association (JSDA) qualification. The role requires a strategic partner who can engage with front office, treasury, risk, IT, and external stakeholders, and who has a proven track record in leading cross-functional initiatives.
