Vice President, Business Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Greater Toronto, Canada Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Business Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to serve as a senior security leader and strategic partner to the business group. The successful candidate will be accountable for defining and driving the business group security strategy, ensuring security considerations are integrated into business and digital strategies, and providing independent oversight of cyber risk, resilience, and security outcomes. This role requires a deep understanding of information security, cyber risk, regulatory requirements, and resilience frameworks, as well as the ability to influence strategic and investment decisions at an executive level. The VP, Business Group CISO will also be responsible for fostering a strong security culture, leading a network of security professionals, and partnering with the enterprise security team to ensure security services meet the needs of the business group. Applicants for the VP, Business Group CISO position at the company should have a university degree in a related discipline and relevant security certifications. A minimum of 15 years' experience in cybersecurity, information security, technology risk, or related fields is required, with a proven track record of advising senior global executives and leading large-scale security initiatives. The role demands exceptional stakeholder management, executive communication skills, and the ability to lead through influence in a matrixed global organization.
