The Company is seeking a Chief Development Officer (CDO) to join its team. The CDO will be responsible for leading the organization's fundraising and development efforts, with a focus on securing the financial resources necessary to support its mission. This includes developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies, cultivating and soliciting major donors, and overseeing the management of donor relations. The successful candidate will work closely with the executive team and the board of trustees to ensure that the organization's financial goals are met and that its work in the public policy sector can continue to have a meaningful impact. Candidates for the Chief Development Officer position at the company should have a proven track record in nonprofit fundraising, with experience in major gift solicitation, grant writing, and donor stewardship. A deep understanding of the philanthropic landscape and the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders is essential. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong communicator, and a collaborative leader. A bachelor's degree is required, and a master's degree is preferred, in a relevant field such as nonprofit management, public policy, or a related discipline. The CDO will play a critical role in advancing the organization's mission and must be committed to the values of quality, independence, and impact in the public policy sector.
