Head of Accounting & Finance

The Company is seeking a Head of Accounting and Finance to join their team. This leadership role is pivotal in overseeing the company's accounting and finance function, with a focus on strategic oversight, operational excellence, and process transformation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing the accounting and finance department, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting, and managing relationships with auditors, banks, tax advisors, and regulatory institutions. Additionally, the role involves driving optimization, automation, and digital transformation of finance and accounting processes, as well as overseeing the implementation and development of ERP and other financial systems. Applicants for the Head of Accounting and Finance position at the company should have a university degree in economics, finance, accounting, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years' professional experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong expertise in financial and management accounting, financial reporting, and taxation is essential, as is a deep knowledge of IFRS and Croatian financial and tax regulations. The role requires experience with complex ERP systems, advanced Excel skills, and a proven track record in leading and developing professional teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills, a proactive mindset focused on process improvement and digitalization, and be fluent in English. A B-category driving license is also a requirement for this position.
