Vice President of Finance Remote (anywhere in Germany)

The Company is seeking a hands-on Vice President of Finance to build and lead its finance function through a period of significant growth. Initially, the role will focus on establishing scalable financial processes, systems, reporting, and controls, before transitioning toward strategic leadership. Responsibilities include owning financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, controlling, cash flow, and management reporting, while developing the governance and finance organization needed to support a larger business. The VP will also advise the CEO and management team on growth and investment decisions and lead financial preparation and execution for a potential shareholder transaction. Candidates should have finance leadership experience in a fast-growing technology or software company, including scaling a finance organization and supporting substantial growth. They need strong knowledge of financial planning, controlling, accounting, reporting, and cash management, alongside the ability to combine strategic leadership with hands-on operational work. Experience with mergers and acquisitions, shareholder transactions, due diligence, and company sale processes is required. German and English language skills are essential.
