Vice President of Accounting Remote (anywhere in Israel)

The Company is seeking a VP of Accounting / Controller to take on a pivotal role in leading global accounting and finance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the integrity of financial results, setting technical accounting positions, and managing a team to ensure reliable financial reporting. This hands-on leadership position requires expertise in US GAAP, Israeli corporate reporting, and experience with multi-entity, multi-currency operations. The VP of Accounting will also oversee billing, AR, collections, AP, procurement, payroll accounting, tax, cash management, and internal controls. Collaboration with various departments, including FP&A, Sales, Engineering, HR, and Legal, is essential, as is the ability to bring automation and AI into the finance function. Applicants for the VP of Accounting role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and be a licensed CPA. A minimum of 10 years' progressive accounting experience, including a Big 4 background, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar leadership role at a mature startup or established global company, with a strong focus on technical accounting, particularly ASC 606 for subscription businesses. Experience with NetSuite is a must, and familiarity with Zuora or similar subscription billing platforms is a plus. The role demands a leader with excellent communication skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and a proactive, team-first attitude.
