Deputy Head of Digital Platforms & Applications

The Company is seeking a Deputy Head of Digital Platforms & Applications to lead business-critical digital platforms and enterprise applications. Responsibilities include guiding a multidisciplinary technical team, overseeing application development and continuous improvement, and setting solution architecture and technical delivery standards. The role also covers application reliability, security, support, release planning, and service management, alongside oversight of external technology partners. The successful candidate will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to align platform modernisation and digital transformation with organizational priorities. Candidates should have at least six years of relevant senior-level experience in enterprise applications, digital platforms, software engineering, or technology management. A degree in technology, information systems, software engineering, or a related discipline at Level 6 or higher—or an equivalent recognized professional qualification—is required; candidates without this qualification may be considered with at least 10 years of relevant senior experience. Strong knowledge of solution architecture, application development, system integration, application lifecycle management, cybersecurity, governance, and service management is essential. Proven experience leading technical teams and external partners, supporting business-critical applications in complex or regulated environments, and communicating recommendations to senior stakeholders is also required.
