Remote (anywhere in North Carolina)
The Company is seeking an Assistant Chief of Healthcare Planning to play a pivotal role in the development of the annual State Medical Facilities Plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and coordinating the work of planners and a database manager, overseeing the production of the plan, and managing strict timelines. This role involves reviewing analytical and written work products, organizing and facilitating meetings and public hearings, and serving as a liaison to the State Health Coordinating Council. The Assistant Chief will also be tasked with monitoring emerging issues, preparing high-level briefings, and presenting the final plan to executive leadership. Applicants for the Assistant Chief of Healthcare Planning position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and at least 5 years' of experience in the program area of assignment, including 2 years' of supervisory program experience. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expert-level proficiency in coordinating complex planning workflows, reviewing technical reports, and organizing large-scale public meetings. A proven track record of success in presenting planning documents to executive leadership and managing liaison responsibilities is essential. The role requires a professional with a consistent history of sustained communication and the ability to support consensus building and timely issue resolution.
