Interim Head of Technology Remote (anywhere in United States)

The Company is seeking a Head of Technology to make technology a competitive advantage by improving business systems, customer service, and operational scalability. The role will assess people, processes, systems, and AI opportunities, set technology priorities, direct teams and providers, and deliver measurable improvements. Responsibilities include evaluating CRM needs, introducing and measuring workflow automation, improving data quality and system integration, and moving quote-request processes into shared workflows. The Head of Technology will also guide AI initiatives, oversee budgets and delivery, and keep executives informed through regular progress, risk, and decision tracking. Candidates should have experience as a Head of Technology or equivalent, with a record of improving business systems and delivering measurable results using lean teams and limited budgets. They should bring hands-on experience with CRM platforms, enterprise systems, and AI tools, including implementing AI in daily work while measuring accuracy and time savings, protecting data, and supporting staff adoption. Strong understanding of operations, forecasting, profit margins, and financial controls is required, along with sound technical judgment, clear executive communication, and experience developing staff and managing external specialists. Experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution, supply chains, or preparing systems for ownership transitions is an advantage.
