Associate General Counsel, Product, Partnerships

The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel with a focus on product and partnerships. This role is pivotal in the establishment of a dedicated product legal function, providing strategic legal guidance to the teams involved in the design, development, and market introduction of the company's products. The successful candidate will be responsible for counseling on legal matters throughout the product lifecycle, with a particular emphasis on strategic transactions and partnerships. Key responsibilities include drafting, negotiating, and executing complex technology-driven agreements that align with the company's product strategy. The role demands a deep understanding of the legal aspects of technology products, the ability to work across various legal and business domains, and a proactive approach to novel legal challenges. Applicants must have a J.D. from an accredited law school, be a member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar, and have a minimum of 8 years' relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in advising on strategic partnerships for technology products, both domestically and internationally, and be adept at handling complex legal transactions. A versatile skill set, the ability to navigate between product and transactional matters, and a passion for technology and its legal implications are essential. Experience in a mature US technology company, particularly with hardware products, and proficiency in multiple languages are preferred.
