Vice President, Nursing & Hospital Operations

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Nursing and Hospital Operations at its Scottish Rite campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading nursing practice and day-to-day operations, ensuring safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care. This executive role demands a leader with a strong background in healthcare, including at least 10 years' of progressive experience, with a focus on operational and financial performance, nursing workforce strategy, and the advancement of the professional practice environment. The Vice President will be accountable for translating system strategy into campus priorities, sustaining Magnet standards, and driving measurable outcomes in quality, patient experience, workforce engagement, and resource stewardship. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with a Master of Science in Nursing and nurse executive certification preferred. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in executive-level partnerships, strategic clinical care planning, and operational efficiency. The Vice President will also be responsible for talent management, including selection, development, and retention, and must demonstrate the ability to lead complex, cross-organizational initiatives. Strong business and financial acumen, advanced analytical capabilities, and the ability to align campus priorities with broader system goals are essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric, academic medical center, or Magnet-designated settings and be committed to the values of patient care, service excellence, and staff and physician engagement.
