Vice President of Engineering

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead three product engineering teams spanning data science, machine learning, and software engineering. The role owns the technology and systems supporting patient engagement and care delivery, with accountability for measurable business outcomes across the patient journey. Responsibilities include setting engineering strategy and roadmaps with Product and clinical leaders, making technical and cross-team tradeoff decisions, and ensuring commitments are feasible and delivered reliably. The VP will also establish technical standards, oversee system compliance in partnership with security and compliance teams, and hire and develop directors and managers. Candidates should have at least 12 years of software engineering experience, including seven or more years leading multi-team organizations through directors or managers. They should demonstrate ownership of business outcomes, a record of developing engineering leaders, and experience building strong product partnerships and delivering against realistic commitments. Experience in a startup or scale-up is required, along with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, a related quantitative field, or equivalent demonstrated experience; an advanced quantitative degree is a plus. Healthcare, payer, or value-based care experience, familiarity with regulated systems, and experience with engagement platforms or decisioning and personalization systems are preferred.
