Virtual Chief Information Officer (CIO) Remote (anywhere in United States)

The Company is seeking a Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) to join their dynamic and supportive team. The vCIO will serve as an executive-level technology advisor, providing strategic guidance and support to clients in the development and management of their long-term IT vision and strategies. This role involves close collaboration with client and internal teams to ensure that technology solutions align with business goals, and may include tasks such as preparing and presenting IT budgets, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing IT communication and presentations. The successful candidate will be a trusted partner, capable of understanding the client's industry and business to offer valuable insights for operational process improvements. Candidates for the vCIO position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in IT design, implementation, and consulting, with a proven track record of success. Proficiency in establishing IT service frameworks and security policies, as well as strong project and budget management skills, are essential. The role requires the ability to build and maintain relationships with client executives and team members, a keen attention to detail, and a commitment to doing what is best for the client. While not mandatory, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, Microsoft Azure or M365 certifications, and experience in an MSP environment are considered advantageous.
